Hey there!
I found my own blog, by accident and saw how pathetic it is! Amy set it up for me, somehow thinking it would force me to "get with the times" and start blogging. She just told me to answer a survey and left it here. So, mainly out of embarrassment, I am going to make my first attempt at a post. Unfortunately, all of our family pictures are on another computer. I will try that next time.
We are doing well, finally moved back to IF last fall! AAaaahhhh, civilization. I don't know how we survived the "black hole," but we made it! Everything is going great, we love it here. Josh's job changed from inside to outside sales and travels to a different city each day of the week. It was a perfect invitation to live where we wanted.
I am now working part-time for a plumbing contractor as a bookkeeper. I enjoy it as much as anyone can enjoy something away from their family. It definitely gives me some peace-of-mind and a feeling of more stability in these frustrating and unpredictable times. So......when we visit with people the topics consist of kids, trim-outs and toilets! :)
Braden is 5 and is now in kindergarten in the mornings. He loves school. He was born with a dramatic personality from the beginning and is always keeping us on our toes. If you ever see him you will have to ask him to show you some "moves." These consist of plenty of spinning on one knee and jumping. I have no idea where he got it. I never have had the energy to keep up with him. And his mind is just as fast. He makes us laugh every day. His most recent question, yesterday, was "What is real estate?" I guess there had been a joke made about it on TV because when I told him, he went back downstairs laughing the whole way! Crazy kid.
Tyler is 2 and the sweetest mellow little boy ever. He is just getting to the age of wanting to do everything Braden does, even the bad habits. He is very tiny for his age, but is not afraid to put Braden in his place. He loves animals and school buses. He has to point them out everywhere we go, even when he doesn't see them. If we are driving past a field, he is screaming at us to look at the cow, which isn't even there. The other day he made a mess in his room. When I found it I said, "Oh, no. You made a mess." The return comment made was, "Pank yo bo-um!" I was laughing for a good five minutes.
I will have to see if I can find this blog again sooner next time. Would love to hear from any of you. I am trying to get Christmas cards out, but just in case.....have a merry Christmas everyone.
